Football Queensland Futsal is the state’s official provider of Futsal, the 5-a-side indoor version of football governed worldwide by FIFA and in Australia by FFA.
Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is a goalkeeper, with unlimited substitutions permitted. The confined space, hard court surface and smaller ball create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique. Football Queensland is committed to the continued development of Futsal by establishing clubs and regions throughout Queensland.
Coach and Referee Education is an important part of the sports development and it is in this space that FQ Futsal can provide a structured and recognised learning environment. All courses provided are recognised by FFA and are part of the governing structure of the sport in Australia.
Whether playing socially, competitively or to develop your skills, Futsal is a fun and healthy way to enjoy The World Game.
