Football Queensland (FQ) Wide Bay is hosting two workshops in Childers on Saturday, 21 November to discuss Wide Bay competitions and the women and girls’ game with local clubs.
The first of two workshops will feature discussions around the competition landscape in the region, proposed competition structures, disciplinary processes and competition regulations. Two delegates from each Wide Bay club are invited to attend the workshop and put forward their ideas.
The second session will explore how to drive women and girls’ participation, the structures that need to be in place to support female participation and the competition structures that can provide the best pathways for women and girls in the region. A female club representative or player is encouraged to attend as one of the two delegates invited to attend the workshop.
